Overview
About Me
I was born in Russia where I grew up and then came to Armenia, now live in Germany.
I am easy going, though a bit reserved type and am always happy to meet new people.
I like communicating with people, although more listening than talking myself. That means that I will be glad to hear your stories and tell mine, but if I only nod and listen to what you say with little talking from my side, it in no way means I am not interested :)
I am glad to be able to meet people from all over the world and to have the cultural exchange both giving and taking.
I love the freedom of speech in all its phases and am glad to be able to communicate with people I would never meet without the "open borders"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My work in international environment and the idea that meeting locals beats using a tour guide on any day pushed me to become a CS member in 2011.
I have twice surfed couches in Germany since then and well, it was great! I have also hosted several people (not through couchsurfing, but is it really that important?) and enjoyed every single bit of experience.
Basically, I think that CS is a great way to meet people around the world and to have someone to see and talk to during travels. That is a great way to have some idea exchange from people around the world and grow the network of open-minded individuals and friends.
