Helllo :) my name is Philipp, I was born and raised in a village between Munich and the lovely Alps of southern Bavaria, Germany.
After I finished school, I got on a plane with no plans and started my trip in Vietnam. Since then (Feb, 2019) I have not stopped travelling and I am totally on love with Asia 😍.
I am basically travelling on my own, but I really enjoy to team up and travel with a good new friend or two or three.
My travel style at the moment is really low budget. This enables me to keep travelling longer, and leads me directly into the homes and hearts of locals :)
Also I am vegetarian. I hope this is not a problem, please do not feel obligated to serve vegetarian (or any) food if that is not your desire.

I like to accumulate all kinds of knowledge, so whatever you're doing I'll be somehow interested in it and hope to learn from you :)

I'm open to talk about everything! I like to share my points of view, and will love to learn yours.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I prefer staying in homes over hotels. In the end, the home is the basecamp of culture, right? That's where I learn about the area, about the people, where we can share knowledge, skills and wisdom etc...
And to be honest, I also don't like to pay money for sleeping.
