ABOUT ME

We met in 2007 in Philadelphia where we worked together with a anti violence program for adjudicated teens. Linda is a mural artist and we are both teachers. We love traveling and discovering new places so in 2008 we moved to Barcelona to study art and Spanish. In 2009 we moved to Managua, Nicaragua to work as coordinators of a creative learning center. And now we're back in Philly, on the job hunt.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Philadelphia is a great place to visit and its even more fun when you know someone who can show you the ropes. We enjoy meeting new people, recommending places to visit and showing them around our city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am relatively new to couch surfing. I have a bunch of friends who have surfed and hosted surfers and I've heard only good stories so far.

Intereses

We are interested in art (contemporary, grafitti, performance) hip hop, rap, salsa, reggeaton, bachatta dancing, arts and crafts, crochett, TV shows (LOST, Dexter, True Blood), sewing, painting murals, cooking, learning about other cultures and taking part in cultural activities.

Música, películas y libros

Enrique likes hip-hop and rap. We both like salsa, reggeaton, bachatta, Micheal Jackson, top hits of the 80's and 90's, old R&B and some new stuff.

Algo increíble que he hecho

One amazing thing I've done was to go to Israel and hike Masada, then swim in the dead sea. That country had an incredible effect on me and was unlike any place I have ever been to.
