Living Beacon, NY in the southern part of the Hudson Valley.
Graduated from the Culinary Institute of America and before that was working at restaurants in Tokyo. Also spent a year teaching at a Junior High School in rural Hyogo prefecture, Japan (about 2.5 hours from Osaka and Kobe)
