ABOUT ME

sometimes i find myself saying inappropriate things when i am nervous, or uttering a lame dad-style joke... but otherwise i'd like to think i am easy-going, friendly, perhaps a bit of a nerd, passionate about music, and life

i recently moved to oslo, norway and am working here as an engineer in a pilot and cabin crew training centre. everytime i visited another place i found myself leaving thinking i would definitely come back one day and live there. so this is exactly what i am doing (except that i had never been to norway before). its turned out super though, and i'm loving it here.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

like most people i started off surfing on a trip, and when i arrived home i started to 'return the favour' in part to try and kick the post-travel-blues but also because i experienced how amazing this whole thing is. i soon realised that hosting was in alot of ways better than surfing. i try to surf and host as much as i possibly can.

it can be hard sometimes though, as i am usually living in shared accommodation. some people dig CS, others don't. of course my housemates will always come first, but i try to show them the light ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i have both hosted and been hosted many times before, and it has always been a fantastic experience. i have met some amazing people from loads of different places. i also like the excuse hosting gives me to find out more about the city i live in.
