ABOUT ME

Ummmm not really great with the whole describing myself thing... Pretty easygoing generally (I like to think anyway!). Generally a fairly quiet kinda guy most of the time. I'm a landscaper by trade and love anything to do with the sea, whether it be surfing, diving, fishing etc.
Big fan of anything outdoors.
Don't have a great deal of cash so I don't get away much but Would love to see more of the world. When I do get away I enjoy getting off the beaten track and have done a lot of wild camping both in Cornwall and away.

PHILOSOPHY

I've had so many philosophies and altered them so many times that now I just go with making it up as I go along. Absolutely believe that everyone should attempt to experience as much as physically possible in their lives, both good and bad. Life is out there so get involved!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Pretty keen to meet new people and do some travelling of my own in the future. Although I can't put anyone up at present I can probably find someone who will if given a bit of notice!
I'm also happy to act as a local guide for the area as have lived here my whole life and like to think I know my way around! I surf, climb, spearfish and fish a lot and would be more than happy to take you out for the day to do any of the above. I usually do most of them by myself so would be nice to have someone else to talk to!
I have access to a boat and regularly head out sea fishing so any keen fishermen give me a shout!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just local stuff really - crashed on more than my fair share of couches over the years down in Cornwall! Looking to expand my surfing network.

Intereses

Surfing, rock climbing, fishing, snokelling, pretty much anything outdoors really. BBQ's and camping when the weather is right (or even if its not...)

Música, películas y libros

Into pretty much all kinds of music, too much to list here. At present listening to a lot of country and southern rock but also enjoy almost all other genres.
As far as books go I like my travel books, although currently reading 'Rowing the Atlantic' by Roz Savage. I also collect books by Wilbur Smith.
Film-wise I'm pretty easy to please. No heavy romance or horror though! Just getting into the anime scene - loving the Studio Ghibli films. All time favourite film has to be True Romance - every scene is perfect!
Hate TV (apart from the occasional documentary).

Well, I'm not much of a pro at anything in particular but I have a few things I can offer... I do a lot of spearfishing and freediving so would be more than happy to pass on my knowledge of good spots to visit or accompany anyone on dives etc. Same goes for climbing and surfing (better stick camping and BBQ's into that category as well!)
I'm also an writer in my spare time, and whoever I crash with would be more than welcome to read what I am currently working on (providing they have access to a laptop with a USB port!).
I'm pretty keen to learn anything and everything out there, so whatever anyone has to share will be greatly appreciated.
