About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Loving life in Korea and looking forward to Japan

ABOUT ME

I'm a writer, but I have to be dragged into writing a profile...

I'm a true cancer. I laugh when I read astrology books because they've got me nailed.

I wear my heart on my sleeve.

I'll always lend an ear if you want to talk.

It's really fun to host people at my place. I like to make people feel at home.

I could spend all day walking around art galleries and museums. Nothing feeds my soul more than exploring a beautiful space and taking in works of art.

My other big passion is being in the mountains, and it's how I spend most of my weekends when the weather permits.

Love going to a grassy park and tossing the frisbee.

Love my indie rock and checking out live shows. I'm a terrible guitar player, but I try.

PHILOSOPHY

I think one of the most important things everyone needs to do is try to understand the views of people who think differently than they do. Even though I may disagree with someone, I try to understand where they're coming from and find common ground. Truth comes from all sides.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I swam through the sea cave of the Grotto Azurro on the island of Capri, Italy. We swam into total darkness, then turned around to see the bright blue light filling the water all around us (an effect caused by the low sun piercing through the small opening of the cave, and wrapping under the cliff edge which was partially submerged in the water). It was the eeriest and most beautiful thing I have ever experienced.

Countries I’ve Visited

France, Greece, Ireland, Japan, Mexico, Spain, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Italy, South Korea
