About Me

I am Philipp. 30 year old. Working in the opera house in Dresden right now and showing tourists around my city.

The first two weeks of march Canary islands are calling me back. I have been all of them already, but there are still great places to discover.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing became a great way to meet people. Thats why I love to join my local Couchsurfing meeting in Dresden. It is always good to see your own city out of the eyes of a foreigner. But it also great to get tipps from the locals, especially when you in a touristy area and you try to escape from it.

Interests

I love to hike longer distances. And I just to wonder or drive around and find great spots without expecting them.

I have great interests in the cultural and historical parts of a country/city. Thats why I worked as a cityguide for a long time.

Another big hobby of mine is juggling.

  • hiking
  • history
  • nature
  • juggeling
  • hard rock cafes

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2019 I walked from Germany to Greece (Dresden to Athens). That was the longest distance I have ever walked (3000km) and I needed 5,5 months for it. Great experience:

Teach, Learn, Share

Learn:
Right now I´m trying to figure out the magic of photographing. So if you are into it, it would be a pleasure to learn from you. Im also investing a lot of time in learning the languages of the countries I´am visiting. So it would be great to get some help from you.

Teach:
If someone is interested in learning how to juggle, I can show you the easiest way (but its still not easy).

What I Can Share with Hosts

For sure a hospitality gift and a great conversation
