I like fat tire bicycles (vintage), remarque etchings, traveling the world and meeting people who use their head for more than just a hat rack.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My couch is initially open for weekends, with the potential for greater lengths of stays as the success rate climbs.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Actually I have been coach surfing for more than thirty years. As a former hang glider pilot and long distance bicycle rider I would often find myself in places, knowing noone, with no place to stay, with but a pittance in my pocket - so I would knock on a strangers door and ask for a sofa to sleep on for the evening. In exchange I would be their raconteur for the evening.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I have ridden my bicycle solo from Marin County to San Diego, in California, down Pacific Coast Highway.
Also, I was an Intern at the United Nations in Geneve, Switzerland in the summer of 2005 with a US Delegate for the Working Group of Indigenous Peoples of the World.
