I am a really happy person who loves nothing more than a good laugh with my family and friends!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I signed up to couch surfing 5 years ago now and have had some amazing experiences. I backpacked around Europe, some of Africa and the US for 10 months in 2008, and was a very active CSer! In fact... CSing provided me with some of the most enriching experiences of my entire trip! Since returning to Australia I have only been able to host a small number of people as I have moved around a lot and my circumstances have just not allowed it! So unfortunately my profile has been pretty inactive for a few years! But I am back now!!! ...and I haven't forgotten the great generosity and kindness that I experienced from fellow CSers as a traveller in 08, so... now that I am settling down for a while, I would love to be able to pay it forward! So please, come and stay!

I try to be a very honest couch surfer and be respectful, friendly and warm to my hosts! I am yet to host anyone myself but as a host I will strive to be friendly and welcoming and as helpful as possible. As to give my guests the best experience of my home!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As I said, I had many experiences CSing back in 08, however there is one particular experience that stands out in my mind as the absolute highlight! My good friend and travel buddy Jess and I were invited to celebrate midsummer in Sweden with big group of CS's! There were roughly 30 of us and no more than 3 from the same country. We hired a cottage for a few nights in the most picturesque setting you could imagine and just had the BEST time! Laughing and dancing and drinking schnapps! Such great people to have met and a totally different cultural experience for an Aussie girl! One I will never forget!

Travelling!! (of course!) But also...dancing, muscial theatre, singing, acting, music, family, animals, history, politics and current affairs, watching really good tv shows, movies, outdoors. I love enjoying time with my family and friends, cooking, drinking wine and just being a good person! Enjoying every day! I also have the BEST nephew in the world and I could hang out with him all day! He's definitely a favourite interest!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Way too many to list them all! But I'll have a crack at naming a few! Pyramids of Egypt, French Alps, Santorini, Tomatina festival in Spain, ANZAC day in Galipoli, Oktoberfest, Rock Wertcher, Iceland, Musicals in the West End and on Broadway, Niagara Falls, NYC, Eiffle Tower, The Colosseum, London, Paris, Rome, Prague, Edinburgh, Barcelona, Jazz in New Orleans, animals on South African Safari, volunteering with Elephants in Thailand, Travelling with my parents in the US, Studying for 4 months in Alaska....the list goes on!!! And so does the list of 'things still to do and see'...maybe you can tell me stories and suggest where I might go next?!
