About Me

Hello! I am a student, outdoor enthusiast, and avid sustainability advocate with a love for sharing experiences and gaining new perspectives on the world. I’m particularly interested in sustainability, education, and food justice, and my current plan is to work as a food system policy advocate and educator, and to continue to meet as many people around the world as possible. You'll almost always find me outdoors climbing mountains or swimming in the ocean, jamming out to some tunes while cookin’ it up in the kitchen, or curled up in a hammock reading a good book.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My love of traveling has grown immensely with each place I visit, and I hope to continue to see the world by connecting with new people and exchanging stories and ideas.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Backpacking on the Mulanje Massif plateau in Malawi. Climbing the exposed ridges of rust-colored rocks to peaks looking down on a sea of clouds below was a surreal experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

During my summers, I work as an outdoor environmental educator teaching six-to-twelve-year-olds about the importance of biodiversity and conservation! I love sharing my knowledge of ecology, philosophy, food systems, and permaculture with others and always enjoy a discussion focused on sustainability.

I hope to continue to learn new languages and skills, especially those related to cooking, art, design work, and building.

What I Can Share with Hosts

- My knowledge of sustainability
- How to live a zero-waste lifestyle
- The art of computer mapping (GIS)
- How to cook delicious (mostly vegetarian) food – Thai is a favorite cuisine
- My stories and optimistic outlook on the world
