Overview
About Me
Hi! My name is Phoebe and I am from Australia.
In 2016/17 I am taking a year off of university to travel throughout Europe where I hope to experience a variety of cultures and exciting opportunities. I have decided to take my learning out of the classroom and into the real world so I can better understand where my passion lies in respect to a career.
I love sport and fitness especially running, swimming, cycling and diving, although since I have been living in Italy for almost 5 months, the pasta life, has become my life! I like to think that I have gained weight as a physical representation of the cultural, and spiritual growth travelling has provided me with!
I am very tidy and outgoing but also enjoy quite time where I can relax read books, watch movies or just lay on the beach.
I look forward to meeting and staying with wonderful new people who are willing to share their culture, food and habits with and in return I can share mine with you.
Best wishes,
Phoebe
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because I think it is a fantastic opportunity to meet people locally and to experience the true culture of a city. I would love to be able to return the gift of being in your home whilst I travel by offering to cook for you or to teach you a recipe. I love cooking with seafood especially fresh caught produce. If that isn't available in your country, I would be happy to spend some time making a pavlova or ANZAC biscuits with you. (Sadly I have ran out of Vegemite this trip :()
I am on here so I can truly see and experience the culture of a city, whilst I love to go out and to party on occasion, I am more interested in trying new and exciting things I can only experience in your unique country.
