Kind, adventurous, fun-loving. I have been in Portland for almost a year after moving from Burlington, VT and have loved every minute of it. Currently teaching culinary and nutrition education for the local food bank and trying to figure out what's next. In the meantime I am enjoying learning as much as possible and exploring Maine. Some things I love - riding my bicycle, swimming in the salt water, reading, playing in the mountains, cooking, gardening, laughing, family and friends, new people and places, learning about herbal medicine, good conversation.

Why not - to meet new people, to help people travel inexpensively, to show people how great Portland is... I always rely on friends of friends and family when I am traveling and love staying in their neighborhoods and learning more about their cities and it is wonderful...
