Aloha!

I was born in Korea and have lived in Indonesia (Jakarta), China (Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Guangzhou), and the United States (Santa Barbara). Having lived abroad for the majority of my life, I have always been curious about the world and its people. I firmly believe that traveling allows room for personal growth. I feel the most alive when I'm outdoors, whether it be in the ocean or in the mountains. I am constantly amazed at what our universe has to offer.

I am currently a social studies teacher at a high school in Shenzhen, China. Next year, I will be going back to school to learn Mandarin, then the year after, will go for my masters in Hawaii. I hope to work for an NGO in the future.

This summer, I will be traveling in the Philippines in July and Indonesia in August. I have no set itinerary and will be going with the flow. My goal is to grow as a freediver and scuba diver during these two months, as I love what both sports have to offer. I really cannot wait!
