COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed a bit in CA and in Europe and really enjoyed it! I have hosted many people on my couch in my life, but not officially through cough surfing yet.

Interests

I like to go running, hike, spend time outside. I love food, but I don't particularly like meat. I like drinking beer and going to the movies. Live music and dancing. I study computer science, so I'm interested in women in underrepresented fields. data visualization and analytics. GIS and geospatial engineering.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love "Americanah" by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. The last live show I saw was Outkast at Treasure Island music festival. Best shows I've ever seen were Explosions in the Sky in CA and Rodrigo y Gabriela in Berlin.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Burning Man was pretty amazing. And unlike anything I've ever done before. It's like going to an alien planet for a week! And I organized a camp of 19 people, and none of us had attended the festival before. I am pretty proud that we had such a successful first burn.

I have been a cook for a house of 50 people. I have been member of an executive committee running a 1300 member non-profit organization.
