ABOUT ME

I'm a Malaysian Chinese girl. My life path is a bit different and I like to have adventurous life experience and try different things, meet me if you are interested to know more about me. I love to read, travel, anything related with art, landscape photo shooting, cook and try different cuisine around the world and practise some yoga. I enjoy a lots when I can use CS platform to meet different interesting people from around the world, remarkable experience when meet new people and know more about the different culture. I worked as a Graphic Designer after I graduated from college. After almost 2 years, I changed my job platform to hospitality industry. I worked as guest services officer in Macau for almost 2 years. I have been visited to some places during my time in Macau. After the contract ended, I went to New Zealand for working holiday. The working holiday experience was very remarkable. After the NZ working holiday, I was bitten by travel bug again! So I just decided to backpack in Europe countries after few months. During my journey,I was an au pair in Italy, Ireland for 6 months and woofing for my first time in an agriculture guest house in Tuscany. After that, I worked as a Ground Handling agent for SQ/MI. I was back to Ireland for a while and came back to Singapore again. I worked with German MNC logistic company in SG nearly 5 years before I started my IT Engineer job with a Japan MNC company in SG. At the moment I am having my gap year due to my SI joint issue and my previous IT job that need me to carry lots of laptop and IT equipments that I can't tolerant anymore and I decided to have a break and start my gap year again in EU!

PHILOSOPHY

Life is short, passion on life! Try new things and have fun! Inspire others, be creative, think different! Make the world better and change it no matter how! Even you think you are "nobody", actually you can be "somebody". Think big, dare to dream and take ACTION!!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Couch surfing when i was travelling in Europe and met some couchsurfers during meeting in Rome. I'm so lucky to meet local Sg group for meeting as well. Participated with those group meeting and activities and hang out with those CSers after we met. Provide the travel information and sharing what I know when I was on the road.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted my colleague's friend during she came to Macau. I gave her some information about the city and offered 3days stay in my place. We shared our travel experience and chat for long time. She had been travelled a lot, she left some advice for me when I was planning to apply working holiday visa in New Zealand. By the way, we didn't use the couchsurfing.org website, as she was a friend of my colleague.

Interests

The english books just Secret, Chicken Soup, Life without Limit, Lipstick Jungle, Act like a woman, think like a man etc.

Paragliding in Queenstown, New Zealand. So scared and after seen the landscape, it's worth it!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you Mandarin (Chinese), Cantonese, Malay if you want. I would like to learn German or Spanish. I would like to share the travel experience with different people. I studied Basic and Commercial Photography, one of my CS's host said that my photography skill is like an amateur photographer, I can show you my portfolio and the skills how to adjust the aperture and shutter speed on a DSLR camera, I don't like to use the setting mode of camera as it's easy way to shoot photos but if you want shoot a good photo, trust me..don't always trust on a machine as your eye is the best to know what you should take and sometimes the camera mode might not the best choice to have a good result as nature lighting and night time shooting, indoor/studio shooting are different.
