Hello, all! So, my name is Phoenix and I'm definitely not a host in any sense of the word. Not because I'm not friendly, but because I'm virtually a nomad and always moving. I will be receiving my Bachelor's degree in Communication from the University of Kentucky in May 2017. Beginning Fall 2017 I will be beginning my graduate program in Higher Education and Student Affairs at the University of San Francisco. Past my educational and professional background, I'm a very free spirited and open individual. I'm sort of a "new age punk" in terms that I just live my own way and don't really let the influence of society make an impact on me. I do identify as LGBTQ*. I am Pansexual and GenderQueer, Those are identities that I hold very near and dear to my heart. If that can't be accepted, I don't believe meeting up would work out. My music taste can be defined as "the random kid that never fully grew out of the emo life but tried to." Primarily I'm a punk, pop punk, alternative individual, but I have been known to cross over into pop and classical and even country (but BARELY). So, yeah. That's me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm broke. I'm always broke. My spending habits destroy any money I get my hands on. Because of that, travelling is great and I can figure out HOW to get to a place; I just don't exactly have many avenues to find a place to stay. I need the most cost-efficient options in order to make things work. Primarily, while I'm trying to work my move from Lexington, KY to San Francisco, CA, I need to save up as much money as possible.
