About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To live, truly live, to push my boundaries and bring more love into the world.

ABOUT ME

Hmmmm... I'm a very open person. Open to new experiences and different people. I thrive in diversity. I love learning random little facts about anything and everything that I can, and enjoy conversations, almost to a fault. I'm a nerd, and I'm awkward. But I'm told that it suits me, so I'm learning to love it. I like to do things simply so that I can say that I have. In the past year I've come to a gradual acceptance that I've been bored out of my mind, and that I need to change my life around and take a greater charge of everything. I've been exploring myself and my surroundings more than I would ever have dared in the past. The result so far has been a much brighter life that I want to share with as many awesome people as possible.

PHILOSOPHY

Be tolerant. Accept that there are very few people who are genuinely vindictive, regardless of their habits. Look beyond the surface and try to understand motives behind actions, and the reasons for those motives. Above all, be open, accept and forgive people of their faults.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hope to be able to show people around my neighborhood, make them feel welcome. I have a couch, my dog is very excitable but a love, so if you can deal with kisses then you'll be ok.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not sure if it would count as CouchSurfing, but when I was in High School, my moms house was always the place to stay, we had friends of mine live with us anywhere from just a couple of weeks to over a year. There was always shelter at my place, and I've missed that sense of community over the years.

Music, Movies, and Books

A shorter list for music would be one that is concerned with what I don't like. I don't like most country music... I have a preference for electric guitar, and I love 70s rock, mostly stuff with heavy blues influence. I also really enjoy anything I can dance to, specifically Detroit House music. I'm also a huge 90s alternative fan. I love books that tell a good story, the same can be said with movies. I have an extrmely broad taste for movies, music and books. That being said, I don't have exorbitant knowledge about any one genre, though I'm very open to learning more about anything someone can teach me about. Jane of all trades, Mistress of none.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I find it amazing that I was fortunate enough to paddle alongside a manatee and an alligator in the same river on the same day. I find the beach very calming, and I think that every new chance to unite with something more harmonious than myself is the most amazing thing of all.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm one of those people who will be taking classes at a university until I'm too old to leave the house, at which point I'll just have to have someone come teach me at home. So basically, I'm interested in learning anything you can teach me. What can I teach you? That depends on what you don't know. I'm exceptionally good at reading people though, so I might be able to teach you something about that.
