I'm a writer. Everywhere I go is for inspiration.

ABOUT ME

I was born in New Jersey and have lived in Virginia with my dad since I was six. When I was 8, I decided I wanted to be a writer, and have wanted to see the world to find things to write about. I am currently majoring in Piano Performance/pedagogy at Longwood University, with a minor in professional writing, and am attending the Asolo Song Festival in Paderno, Italy.

PHILOSOPHY

I am really an individualist. I think stereotypes really only exist in people's minds, and a lot of people don't realize this because they are so zoned into their particular comfort zone. I so much would like to meet people who don't accept the norm and who are not afraid to do big things outside of the routine.

I'm new to this, but I'd love to eventually be able to host other 'nomads'. It's an excellent way to meet people and support other people with similar desires to see the world.

I love writing and reading poetry (Adrienne Rich, Phillip Larkin) reading (Ayn Rand, Robert Heinlein, Phillip Pullman some favorites)traveling (obviously), playing the piano, singing (not in public), playing air hockey, and anything full contact

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm attending the Asolo Song Festival, a four week collaboration of singers and pianists performing in different areas of the country (Venice, Asolo, Paderno). It's beautiful here and amazingly rewarding.

I am getting my BS and hopefully doctorate eventually in Piano Performance, so I have a background in Music History and theory, and a minor in professional writing, so I know a lot of liberal arts history as well.
