About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see the world and make personal connections with people along the way
ABOUT ME
I am a California poppy.
I am a recent transplant to Manhattan KS as a graduate research assistant for K State.
I am mostly vegan.
I am open minded and willing to try new things.
I believe that love exists in peoples' lives if they are willing to open themselves up to it.
I believe in pursuing your dreams.
I believe that anyone has the capability to make a difference.
I believe everything happens for a reason.
I love to travel and have adventures whether it be in nature or to a major city.
I love compliments, but I feel awkward receiving them.
I love lyrics usually more than I love the actual song.
I love my family and my closest friends.
I enjoy dancing, running, hiking, and camping.
I enjoy educating myself, especially about environmental issues.
I enjoy going to shows paired with a good IPA.
I enjoy bathing in the sun with sunscreen of course!
I want to travel forever.
I want more time to do the things I love.
I want true love to find me so I can delete this thing!
I want to live in a peaceful world.
I value ambition and perseverance.
I value loyalty and responsibility.
I value my health.
I value my memories and the lessons learned from my experiences in life thus far.
I have never been arrested.
I have never cheated in a committed relationship.
I have never been married.
I have never been pregnant.
I am interested in dating a genuine person that is honest, even to a fault.
I am interested in dating someone that has goals and ambitions and is actively working to achieve them.
I am interested in dating someone that will accept me for who I am, faults and all, yet inspires me to work on my weaknesses so that I can be a better person and partner.
I am interested in dating someone that is emotionally available and willing to make a relationship commitment.
PHILOSOPHY
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
Live life as if everyday was your last.
Your body is your temple, so treat it as such.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: Catcher in the Rye, The Other Boleyn Girl, The Help, Cunt, Animal Farm, Fahrenheit 451, Cradle to Cradle, Fight Club, pretty much all Chuck Palahniuk book, any environmental book or anything about King Henry the VIII and his 6 wives
Movies: Across the Universe, A Christmas Story, I Love You Man, Step Brothers, The Patriot, A Clockwork Orange, Donny Darko, Pulp Fiction, Rocky Horror Picture Show, and most cult films, I enjoy scary movies in the theater because they get my adrenaline pumping, and documentaries about history or environmental related topics
Shows: I don't watch T.V. nor own one. I stream very infrequently.
Music: Radiohead, Father John Misty,, Lana Del Ray, Lucero, The Smiths, Fleetwood Mac, The Beatles, Hot Water
Music, Metallica, Quicksand, Drake, The Weeknd, Bassnectar, I enjoy ambient, jazz, electronic/heavy bass music, folk rock, bluegrass, hip hop/rap and R&B, classic rock, 80's Alternative, some metal, indie bands, even classical... I do not enjoy pop/pop country/country/christian music mainly
Food/Diet: Well I eat mainly vegan (about 98% of the time) for health reasons and because I disagree with factory farming practices. I was 100% vegan for almost 7 years and when I moved home in 2011, my dad is an abalone diver and I am not against fishing and hunting for game, but I do not like the mass production practices so I avoid commercial purchasing of fish, but eat it about once a month (it prevents Alzheimer's). About a year later I started to buy eggs from my dad's co-worker (because they are hormone free and truly cared for hens).
I really like sushi (I can roll!), Ethiopian, Thai, Papalote (Mexican restaurant in San Francisco that is a healthier option for Mexican food and has vegan options), and pretty much anything with the following ingredients: avocado, sun dried tomatoes, broccoli, chia seeds, dark chocolate, garlic, almonds, spicy hummus, and Franks Red Hot Sauce (I put that *ish on everything)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Burning Man, lived in Boston, MA for 3 months with a girl that I met randomly in NYC when I was traveling a summer and just made it happen, I lived in Brooklyn for 3 months during the worst winter EVER, so many things to share, but I would rather share them in person :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I am an engineering student so if you have questions about math or physics or water, I could talk to you about some cool things
