I am a grad student in TESL. I love surfing, yoga, music, backpacking in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, the California coastline, nature, playing my guitar and singing, music and dancing, djing, reading and writing, travel, winters in baja surfing.

PHILOSOPHY

My thought is that we are here to make the world a better place, follow our dreams and live fully, while having fun!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music! Making it and listening to it. I just spent a week at SXSW. My tastes are completely eclectic; what I listen to is in response to the moment. (hint: listen to KCRW.com 'Morning Becomes Eclectic' with Nick Harcourt) Some classic movies that I like: Casa Banca, Apocalypse Now, The Matrix, Miami Vice, Blade Runner, Super Bad was hilarious.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Puerto Madryn, Argentina I was playing my guitar and singing on a tiny spit of land that stuck out in the ocean and a mother and calf Right whale swam out of the bay right up to me, raised their eyes out of the water and looked at me, we made eye contact while I played and sang and walked along the spit and they floated along beside me! Amazing.
