ABOUT ME

This Couch surf page is used by both David Matheson and George Howard as we are good friends/compadres that roll hard when together, but also solo.

George Howard: I grew up around the Monterrey bay in California. As a kid I lived in an RV moving from place to place with my parents are the extremely free spirited hippie types. I spent most of my time on the campus of UCSC till I was 17 and moved to South Carolina, Since then, Ive been traveling as much as possible trying to take in as much knowledge as possible. I currently live in Charlotte near downtown where I work as an artist. Id love to start hosting people in the near future so please give me a shout if you are in North Carolina for a couch or dranky drank.

David Matheson: As a kid, I was lucky enough to grow up in a fairly isolated area of the DEEP SOUTH in the US, leaving me with a constant desire to meet new people and explore new places. Everywhere I go, I'm always thinking of or making artwork, cooking, and generally having a good time. I like to do all things outdoors, hiking, running, and SKATEBOARDING. I've skated most my life, and through it i've developed an appreciation for folks/things a little beyond the norm and managed to meet a few good people too. Likewise, people are incredibly important to me, and the friends I make are friends for a life time. I'm a really open guy, interested in everything under the sun and (...)

I participate by sleeping on random floors and hanging with cool people i meet along the way.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

MANY spots surfed now and more to come! I traveled with my friend George last Summer, we surfed Central Europe and met some really bad ass people. I love Cuchsurfing, its such an amazing community of people who love to travel, and usually have a really well-rounded view on the world.
