Overview
About Me
I am very fond of languages, all I've been doing my entire life was learning different languages, for a living or just for fun. Via languages you can easily dive into different cultures and get to know new people.
Cooking is also one of my passions. I do it on a daily basis to relax and release stress. Favourite cuisine: Vietnamese, Thai, Chinese and Italian.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to show people around and meet new international friends.

Music, Movies, and Books
You can talk hours and hours about music, books, theater and movies with me.
I listen to all kinds of different music from Erik Satie to Hardcore Techno (which is actually not really too different from each other).
I'm very interested in art house cinema; it is really hard for me to name my favourite ones. Lars van Trier changed my view on life a few times, Almodovar opened the secret (gay) world of emotional Spanish cinema to me, Wes Anderson knows to fascinate me all over again.
But I also like to watch blockbusters or Pixar animations, world cinema or short silent films.
My relationship to books is a very special one since I grew up with books. Instead of going out with friends I used to sit at home, reading all kinds of books about the universe, dinosaurs or classics by Jules Verne, Aldous Huxley, ....
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Riding through China on a bike, hiking on the Tiger Leaping Gorge.
