ABOUT ME
My names are Phylis Abiri graduate in Sociology and Communication from the University of Nairobi.I believe in unity in diversity.I am motivated by addressing issues on women and marginalised groups’ access information for increased participation for sustainable development and peaceful coexistence. I believe in integrity, work ethics and accountability. However, its only when media and communication is developed and capacity build to promote allow for open dilaogues and exchange of ideas/perspectives can unity in diversity can be actualized.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have worked with disadvantaged communities and refugees in slums communities of Nairobi promoting increased community dialogues and access to information.My endeovus included sharing knowledge and skills in supporting community media to promote women, refugees’ rights; empowering target groups for peaceful coexistence and sustainable access to basic services.
