HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In Brussels I used to be very active in the couchsurfcommunity. I think it is al abouth meeting new great people, inspire and getting inspired. If I host it is because it is an added value to your stay in Brussels for us to get to know each other.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm very fond of this idea of this community of trust. My greatest 'couchsurf' experience happened outside of this website. A new neighbour of mine forget her keys in another country, she spend the night on my couch. I think it is all about positive energy and learning to trust something good is going to happen. We learn in society to not trust strangers, but if we unlearn that we are giving great experiences in return.

theatre, poetry, musicgigs, looking outside trainwindows, talking to random people on the street and having strange conversations, the story behind objects I find on the street (I sometimes pick up notes, to see what is written on them), teaching, debates ,.....

I really enjoy little things in life. I'm one of those silly people that can get extremely happy when I walk to school and all the lights turn green on my way.

There is no obligation to share things, but if somebody writes me to come over and I accept, I already believe there is a reason for us meeting and we will share a learning experience together. I never know what exactly, but there is a reason paths cross.
