ABOUT ME

Hi. I love to write "to-do-lists" such as my bucket list. And i want to do it before i reach the 30 years. :-) It has already 300 things on it....nothing is impossible!

PHILOSOPHY

Well. I have spent a year in England working in a Hospice as a volunteer. It was hard but I got to know that life can be very short. And so I wrote a bucket list of things I want to do in my life. I think everybody should do because you never know what happens tomorrow. So I try to be positiv and optimistic.
hey, I am healthy and I don't have pain and so (almost) everything is possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I am only hosting, because I don't have a lot of holiday. But in September I hope to do couchsurfing in France, a country that I always wanted to see. I hope it will be good...
Until then I am hosting people from all over the world and I love to show them around Duesseldorf.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am hosting for almost one year. It's a great experience and I have met a lot of nice and interesting people. I want to continue to host but it's not always so easy because I am working. But I always try to make the guest feel comfortable at my place or in my country.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love travelling and so I like many Road Movies such as "Little Miss Sunshine" "Into the wild" "im Juli" "Darjeeling limited". But I like many films especcially not mainstream. I like all kind of music in different situations: * When I travel I prefer Reggae (together with my dream of a yellow or blue VW-Bus) * To sleep I like to listen to soft music (Guitar) * When I am going out in the night I prefer Black music, electronical music and sometimes Rock Music* to sum it up - I am open to every kind of music (I am going to Wacken Open Air next year which is the most biggest heavy metal festival in Europe. I have no idea why I said "yes" but maybe I know afterwards.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Normally when I read other profiles in this box it's about beautiful sunrises and places people used to visit. This is not very important for me. The most incredible thing i saw was a patient in the Hospice who suffered from lung cancer. He was an opera singer and he couldn't sing anymore. But he was happy because he said: "As soon as it will be spring, I'll sing again!" One day after the long winter it was the first sunny day of the year I went to work and I saw that this patient had died. Although I was sad, i couldn't help but smiling because I thought that he might be singing somewhere else now!

I can show you different types of massages. And I can cook and play the violin. I try to fight against old stereotypes many people have from Germany. I can try to convince you.
