About Me
Hi! My name is Pi-Chien, and if you think it's hard to pronounce or remember, just call me Iris:D
I was born and grew up in Taiwan, studying business administration at NCCU, and now having the exchange program in ZHAW, Switzerland till 07.2017. I really love traveling, and I've traveled a lot in Asia, the United States and New Zealand. In the past several months, I traveled to Paris, Milan, Munich, Vienna, Oslo, Bergan, Tromso with friends or along. It's quite nice to record ventures by photographing. My favorite part of traveling is that the best thing always happens beyond my expectation. Hi there! It's really nice to meet you!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think the main reason is couchsurfing could help me to meet more people around the world. If I just book the hotel, I won't have the opportunity to meet you guys. The motivation of me on couchsurfing is my friend. He was also the exchange student last semester. And during his stay in Europe, he joined the Couchsurfing and thus had lots of great trips. Before my departure to Switzerland, the only thing he recommended me is go couchsurfing! I'm really excited to have some couchsurfing!
Interests
I love cooking! Since my exchange student life in Switzerland, I've already made several traditional Taiwanese food to my friend, and they really enjoyed these dishes! So if you also want to try, please let me know and I'm glad to cook some of the traditional Taiwanese meals for you!

Music, Movies, and Books
Typically I listen English and Chinese pop music.
I love comedy movies as well! And last week I watched Zoolander with my friends, this movie was soooo funny! I really enjoy these kind of movie hahahaha, no scaring and brainstorming.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was running a business with my classmates for 8 months, selling products to Chinese and Taiwan. It's a mission of my e-commerce course in NCCU. The professor said that all groups had to selling products outside Taiwan, which group earning the highest profit would get the highest grade. I totally love this course since it's practical and students could really learn lots of things during the process.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could teach you daily dialogue in Chinese and also translate your name into Chinese! Now I'm working hard to learn German, and it would be awesome to share our own traditional food together.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm willing to share my travel experience, Chinese culture/food and also my philosophy of life.
