About Me
Welcome back: I am back to Bochum and back to hosting!
Pura Vida!
I'm a 23 year old medical student from the Ruhr-area (North-Rhine-Westphalia) Germany. Even though it is always hard to explain one's own self, I would say I am a really happy, open minded, light hearted person who loves to laugh and meet new, exciting people along her way to exchange and share opinions, experiences and joy. I am really tolerant - although I have a hard time tolerating people who are extremely intolerant themselves; I guess, that is something I would like to change or at least try to.
I am really spontaneaus and glad to try out anything I can add to my experiences - I am definitely in for crazy things also. In cities I love to "get lost" to find special, non-touristic places although I (unfortunately) usually know about where I am.
Also, I love being creative in drawing, painting, sewing, knitting, upcycling or whatever else - I am always in for any new experience I can make!
I am a really talkative person who loves questioning things and trying to take on different perspectives. Though I talk alot myself, I really love listening to other peoples stories to learn from them. As I usually am in a great mood, laughing and smiling a lot, I love to see how smiling spreads around and inflames most to smile or laugh along.
Other cultures have always fascinated me and what better way to get to know them better would there be other than getting to know people who actually live them?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I always feel like I can get to know our world and its citizens better and make friends all over the world to overcome prejudices and understand each other better.
And maybe some day, making as many friends and trying to understand and respect as many opinions as possible, our world will become a (slightly) better place :)
Also, there is no better way to get to know a culture through people who actually are part of the same than only being a tourist somewhere. Instead of a traveller you become an explorer then.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music - I pretty much like everything that is a little special. Music has to be moving in some way - mentally or physically.
Movies - have mostly been replaced for me by theatre plays, which oftentimes are way more alive to me.
Books - I like those which you can find the author inside. As art, I think, a book always is a part of its creator, and I like "discovering" him in between the lines.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Living abroad for a year, finding a new family and so very many wonderful experiences and friendships.
Couchsurfing! I love how many people welcome me so much and really make me feel at home. Those experiences mean the world to me!

What I Can Share with Hosts
I can definitely share some stories and lots of laughter an smiles and maybe a different perspective on some things. More practically, I know many vegetatian (and vegan) recepies and love to cook and bake for others. Of course I can share whatever else I know or know how to do.. I know how to sew, knit, crochet and how to fix or reuse almost anthing which is broken. I love painting and drawing and would love to share some of that if one was interested.
