Hi, I am pia originally from Lebanon. I often travel alone, I am a huge risk taker, I never backup regarding any adventure that is offered to me.
I have started a travel blog in 2015 ( www.discoverybeyondborders.com ) while pursuing my Master’s degree in Management of Cultural Landscapes, I was enrolled in a program which allowed me to live in three European countries in the course of 2 years. This particular experience and my positive attitude have enabled me to seek happiness in every step I take in life and taking part in social responsibility. Therefore I followed a distinctive path related to awareness raising, heritage management and lastly writing about the special places I have visited with a slight Lebanese twist.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I often travel alone, and i was hosted twice on couchsurfing. Therefore i know the feeling when venturing in a new destination and looking for authentic experience and guidance from a local's point of vue, while also seeking for a place to stay while traveling on a budget. Moreover, meeting people and making friends from all over the world while i am in my home country will make me feel like i am actually traveling, a good deal for me!

Backpacking through 10 countries in Central-Eastern Europe in the course of 1 month.
