About Me

I’m not accepting/responding to unpersonalized messages or requests. Please don’t send me a message if you don’t have a specific reason why you’re contacting me.

CURRENT MISSION
Roots and wings!

Growing my roots stronger in beautiful Barcelona, growing a community of beautiful people around me that I can feel authentic and at ease with.
Using my wings more, in the way that my creativity can fly free and be expressed in my work, my travels, my personal growth and everything I do.

I’m a filmmaker, alternative school teacher, I enjoy making art and music and dancing and theatre and psychology and getting to the bottom of interesting conversations. Sometimes I might seem serious because I always want to understand WHY things happen and tend to question everything.
With the right people I can be super silly and light-hearted though.
Vegetarian -> aspiring vegan
Children’s rights activist
Multipotentiality! (Can’t decide what to do with my life, everything’s so exciting^^)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted people in our shared flat in Germany 10 years ago, then started surfing when I lived in Asia. Now I have my home base in Barcelona but I still travel quite a bit and usually try to combine that with surfing in new places.
Recently I’ve decided that I now have a home that is appropriate for hosting people so I’m excited to start this new experience :)

Interests

So my main interest at this moment is alternative education-
Places where kids can learn what they need but besides that (and more important than that) find their 'thing', their passion, their talent, interest, however you may call it.
So that the moment they leave school they're not in the 'Damn now I'll have to be an adult and start the serious life' mood but in the 'Here's the world I'm gonna pursue that thing I'm interested in and make it happen' mood.

I know it sounds weird to lots of people, but I've seen it happening and therefor I believe it's possible :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

many small things.
Finding my dream jobs and making them happen without going to university?
Overcoming my fears and finding friends and community?

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach some nice vegetarian recipes and how to make fresh pasta! :)
If you have a piano I'll play (even though that might be more of a benefit for me than for you^^) and I like drawing people a lot so if you always wanted one of these street art portraits I could aim for that

In my home I can share the piano for you to play, drawing and painting materials for you to get creative, a cat that’ll be quite happy to cuddle with you and hopefully general good vibes!
