About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Grow as a person while engaging the infinite beauty of the world.
ABOUT ME
I find myself constantly gravitating towards the unique, the artistic, and the quirky. I have an insatiable predilection for good music, art, and food. I love absolutely and I’m a free spirit. I’m a live-to-eat kind of guy. Literature, poetry, science, philosophy, and music are some of my favorite things. I play the tabla (a North Indian percussion instrument) and have performed extensively and can speak at length about Indian classical music on command. I can even give you a preview/ teach you if you’d like. I received my BS in Biochemistry Cell Biology and minored in writing at UC San Diego. I’ve recently been accepted to medical school and I’m going to travel for a few months before I start the grueling process. Esteemed members of the couch-surfing community, would you please help me during my travels by providing me a couch, however humble.
PHILOSOPHY
"Live beautifully. Dream Passionately. Love Completely."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far, it has been great.
Interests
I love art, culture, and society. I'm especially enticed by the history of things--how things came to be the way they are. I'm fascinated by ancient cultures. Behind every written account of history, there's always a subtext, something than can only be gleaned through the visceral senses. I'm on a quest to see the world to better appreciate this subtext.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy books that are satire. Some of my favorite authors include, but aren't limited to: Vonnegut, Toole, Heller, and Voltaire. I also really enjoy Russian literature. Dostoevsky and Nabokov come to mind.
As far as music is concerned, I'm very fond of American Folk and Indian Classical. I also like alternative rock, and EDM.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've played tabla with one of India's best--if not the best--sitarists. It was a monumental achievement for me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've taught many subjects at the university and high school level. I've taught biology, chemistry, math, music, and writing. I'd love to share what I may know with you all!
