About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To challenge myself to travel off the beaten path. Currently learning Spanish as a second language.

ABOUT ME

Hi there,

I'm a young Australian who loves to travel. I live in the beautiful city of Sydney where I am currently working as a teacher.

I am a positive and confident person, who is trustworthy and reliable. I am not afraid to try new things and break out of my comfort zone. I enjoy meeting new people, and the opportunity to sit down with others for any corner of the world and be inspired.

The opportunity to explore and experience different cultures (..and their food) is something I live for! A friend introduced me to couch surfing and I love it because it gives people the chance to explore the world and make great friends along the way.

I have so much respect for everyone on CS that is willing to host and open up their home to travellers, and am so grateful to all the people who have hosted me! Thank you, gracias, grazie mille, मुरी मुरी धन्यवाद.

PHILOSOPHY

Don't take life so seriously, never stop learning, always keep an open mind, AND, most importantly, RESPECT.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment I am not in a position to host travellers, however the experiences I have had and the people I have met through being hosted so far has definitely encouraged me to host in the future!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been very lucky to stay in two beautiful cities in Italy through CS, Perugia and Genova. As well as a quaint little town just outside of Cinque Terre. I have CS in the beautify city of Kamloops, Canada and through parts of the east coast of America: New York and Philadelphia. All experiences so far have been wonderful.

Music, Movies, and Books

The most honest book you will every read: Dr Sues 'The places you'll go'

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been fortunate enough to have visited many places in my life so far. Some highlights for me have been a 3 day trek in the Darien jungle in central America, visiting the Topkapi Palace and tasting the delicious fish sandwiches in Istanbul, swimming with a huge pod of wild dolphins in New Zealand and Hot Air ballooning with a great friend in Cappadocia….just to name a few.

AND believe me.. I don't intend to stop there...
