ABOUT ME

im an excitable, happy, independent, open minded and intelligent young woman looking to learn and see as much as i can in my lifetime...i was born and hand raised by my mama bear in Darwin NT Australia... our duo pack congregated to Perth WA Australia when i was 12 to join the rest of my herd... there i have had the time of my life growing up with the most amazing friends i could ask for...

'The world is my oyster' There is so much out there. we are but a tiny part of an amazing eco/social system created for billions of years to get to now. here. you. me. wow. haha

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Over the last 7 years i have either been a exceptional (hehe) surfer or provided a couch to fellow surfers when i could. I have spread the word about couchsurfing to many friends who have in turn then joined and participated themselves. When i am settled once again i cant wait to host surfers of the world to give back to the community in any way i can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i had the pleasure of couchsurfing in greece in 2006. after i returned home my mother and i hosted quite a few couchsurfers who contributed to our lives generously.. in 2009 i couchsurfed in America and Europe and im planning a trip over to America & Canada for 2013 and i hope to meet more amazing people i can one day host in Australia!

i love a vast variety of music and never limit myself to what i already know.. electronic music is most featured on my iphone though ~ Minimal, Techno, Progressive, liquid drum&bass... But i love a lot more! some all time favourite artists- Tool, Alix Perez, Booka shade, guy gerber, Oliver Koletzki, Slam, RHCP'S, Massive Attack, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Portershead, Jose Gonzales, Anthony & the Johnsons, Gypsy Kings, Radio Head...

Hmmm movies, ah so many! American Beauty, American History X, Fight Club, Mulholland drive, Romeo & Juliet, Pulp Fiction, Lost Highway, Schindlers List, Matrix, Scarface, Napoleon Dynamite, kiss kiss bang bang.. i could go on forever, bit of a movie buff- anything with a bit of meaning or interest- oh and of course the occasional stupidly quotable chick flick!! haha =)

Books... i love to read. i like books that contain a bit of all the elements in life. a few of my favorites ~ The Fountainhead, Shantaram, Anthem, The Bronze Horseman, Alexander and Tatiana, The summer garden, The Pride, Sophies World, Scar Tissue, Imperim, East of the Sun..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

lots but a fav is my austrian ski adventure.. thinking we were cool and tough we wagged our third day of ski school to hit the slopes- literally- i have never fallen on my ass so many times!! we chose the closest slope to where we were staying and frighteningly skied/slid/stacked/treked it to the bottom- very surprisingly unbroken. We were later told by some of the locals that it was the hardest black line in the area and the slope used my the Austrian ski team to train! haha.
