Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I hosted several surfers while I was living in Savannah, Georgia during college 2008-2012. I surfed the Netherlands, Germany, France, Scotland, and Ireland in 2012.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I am convinced that it takes a certain "breed" to involved with Couchsurfing and that those individuals who chose to be a part of this community are inherently interesting, adventurous, and all around awesome.

Movies: Truthfully there is WAY too many to name, but if I must give you an idea... Anything starring Philip Seymour Hoffman; Anything involving Wes Anderson or the Coen Brothers; Monty Python; War/Action movies like Saving Private Ryan, 300, and Gladiator; Where the Heart Is; The Fifth Element; V for Vendetta; Amilie, The Departed; Who Framed Roger Rabbit; Pulp Fiction; The Secret of Roan Inish, Atonement; The King of California, Juno, and most documentaries.
Music: I like almost all music. Genre depends on time, place, emotional state, company, etc.
Books: The Prophet, Ishmael, Native Son, The Things They Carried, The Girl with the Pearl Earring, Angela's Ashes, The Rape of Nanking, The Little Prince, The Meditations, Griffin and Sabine series, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, The People's History of the United States, The Alchemist, Tuesdays with Morrie, Catcher In The Rye, anything philosophical.
