About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I want to travel the world, learn what I can learn, see what I can see. I want to meet lots of people from all around the world. I want to eat, drink and be merry with people. And much more.
ABOUT ME
I'd say I'm a pretty outgoing and fun loving person. I believe in following what your heart tells you and to try to never have regrets. Tolerance, open-mindedness and acceptance are all very important to me.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe in treating people with kindness, respect, tolerance and open mindedness. I grew up in a Zen Buddhist/Unitarian Universalist household, but there are many, many other over and undertones that contribute to my beliefs and personal philosophy. I always try to be present and aware, conscious of my words and actions. Trust, loyalty, and truth are extremely important to me. I feel that the Golden Rule is always a good thing to follow (treat others how you want to be treated). Self control but also knowing how to cut loose! Knowing and thinking about what's going on around one's self is very important.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have couchsurfed in various Europen countries and the US and been to several CS events. It is always a good time and a rewarding experience! The people who I stayed with were really cool. I hope to couch surf a lot more in my life. It is a wonderful opportunity to meet new people and make friends abroad.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My experiences traveling and volunteering in Nepal have been life changing. Teaching English to young monks in a Tibetan Monastery was one of the most challenging things I have ever done. On my first day I started off with introductions between myself and each of the 6-10yo monks. I then partnered off each of the students. I went over instructions then said, "Ok, go!", and they all stood up, bowed, said "Thank you sir", and left! I had inadvertently let the class go about 1.5 hrs early.
I think of this experience as a reminder to never take things too seriously, and to just go with the flow.
