ABOUT ME

I am an enthusiastic, energetic, bubbly person who loves to meet new people and have new experiences. I have been known to laugh uncontrollably. I am an idealist, and an optimist, with a dash of peter pan syndrome. On my quest to keep making this the best life I can, I have realized my dream job as a dance teacher to baby, adults, and everyone in between. I love the creative process and just creating things spontaneously!

PHILOSOPHY

It's hard to pin it down to just a few words. I mean the older I have gotten the more complex my views have become. It is like a Mexican mole sause; each generation adds its own flavour!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm hoping to invigorate the CS community up north here. We have an amazingly diverse community up here and this might be another way to connect newcomers, visitors, and the more situated residents together.

I CS'd a lot three years post university and I loved it. I think it's time for a renaissance.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Music: I am open to listening to anything and I'm always looking for new music. I listen to the classics like Zeppelin, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, etc. I also like pop music (i.e., Michael Jackson, Prince, etc). I also love blues, soul, funk, R&B, and of course a wide range of pretentious indie music. I also love karaoke, so any song singable at karaoke also falls into this category.

Movies: Wall-E...pretty much Pixar!

Books: The Sleep that Changed Everything, Everything is Illuminated, Whylah Falls, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, A Complicated Kindness, Latin Moon in Manhattan,etc.

I am confident that I can teach anyone to dance. They just have to be willing to learn!
