ABOUT ME
Hello, Hola, Bonjour ! :)
Always a bit complicated to describe oneself in a few sentences.
My name is Cecile. I used to be a French Teacher in Vancouver, BC. Life is changing all the time and I like seizing new opportunities and taking new paths, so I'm reconverting myself in a Web Editor now.
I grew up in the countryside of Cognac area of France, in a small town called "flower" in French and surrounded by vineyards. My family makes cognac.
I used to travel in Europe, North America, South America and Southeast Asia. I love discovering new places and meeting people.
I love chocolate, fruits, wine, kayaking, rafting, traveling, and simple things of life and those little moments that provide thrills and chills.
By doing Couchsurfing I hope meeting great people from all around the world, sharing with them and learning from them.
I need to surround myself with people I love and feel helpful.
My goal: enjoying life, having an amazing career, being happy, publish a novel I'm writing.
My dream: traveling all around the world by boat (sailboat).
PHILOSOPHY
"Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love meeting people from all around the world, and hosting them at home.
Couchsurfing is an awesome opportunity to make new friends.
Everyone needs couchsurfers a day, somewhere, and any couchsurfer needs a place to stay, someday, somewhere.
Open doors and heart ! :)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first couchsurfer was from Finland. Because he was an awesome guy I meant to continue hosting people.
My second one was from New-York. My third one from Colombia. And I've met travelers from all around the world : Australia, Canada, China, Columbia, England, Ireland, Poland, US.
Couchsurfing is more than a good way to host someone or to sleep somewhere.
It's an awesome opportunity to get a world family !

On Christmas Eve couple of years ago I saw a huge sparkling ''thing'' falling down the sky. It was not a shooting star but a Russian rocket falling from space, burning in the atmosphere.... and it was very impressive!!
I left France for a couple of month to travel in Canada, and I never came back.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach French, European culture, how to taste wine and pair with cheese.
We can share about wine, environmental issues, or anything you want to share.
