I'm kind, playful, and curious-minded; I love to meet new people and see what they're up to.

I like to read and write; and I like to go walking in the city and the country. I make pop tunes too and I go dancing, so I suppose I'm a bit of mixture of inclinations.

I've been doing postgrad this past year to become a professional museologist/researcher and I'm looking to re-locate to Berlin. I've spent time here before and need a place to stay temporarily whilst I find my feet and get a semi-permanent apartment.

So, if you're happy to host me I promise to be a respectful, entertaining, and low-maintenance guest. I speak German to a reasonable level, so if you're more comfortable we can skip the English.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've not used couchsurfing for a couple of years, so please don't be put off by my dreadful response rate. My account was connected to an old email address. I've met some fantastic people through hosting and travelling and it would be nice to meet a couple of Berlin residents this time round.

I will tell you stories and jokes, perhaps attempt to explain what is happening in the UK right now; and I will certainly cook you something in return for letting me stay.

Difficult to list everything here, but lots of different types of writing, music, and film. Favourite film directors all seem to be dead Europeans. They are: Eric Rohmer, Krzysztof Kieślowski, Robert Bresson, Rainer Werner Fassbinder. Favourite music: you'll have to ask to find out.
