I have been working as a journalist since 2005, even though I sometimes made some odd jobs. After graduation from university in 2007, I lived in Edinburgh, Scotland for a year to work with homeless people as a part of European Volunteer Service Project. I discovered the web site in there, and I liked the idea. I was hosted by nice people through couchsurfing.com.

In 2010, I moved to Canada to get my post-graduate education. I lived and worked in Toronto around 7 years. I travelled a lot thanks to the web-site. In 2017, I moved to Turkey permanently and has been working as an editor and photographer.
