About Me

👋🏽 Nice to meet you, I am Piera!
🇮🇹 🇦🇷 I am half Italian and half Argentinian and in October I will be starting a sabbatical to explore Middle East and Asia.
I am a designer for work and an artist for passion.
✏️ Travelling for me is the moment where I can reconnect with my creative self and fuel my creativity with stories of people and places.

🏡 I have lived in many countries around the world - USA, Argentina, the Netherlands, South Africa, Italy - and in the last 3 years I have become a freelancer location-dependent. This means I have the freedom and privilege to travel around the world while working remotely.
💕 When travelling I love to find ways to connect with local people and scout meaningful projects to give back to communities and to the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

🛤️ Couchsurfing is the best way to meet local people and explore the city as a local rather than a tourist.
🗣️ I love listening to people's stories and I believe that having someone in the place I visit, who can help me understand the culture of the country, is a treasure.

Interests

🎨 I am a muralist artist and I am passionate about painting walls around the world!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to listen to any kind of music, from classical to Reggaeton, depending on the situation and the mood i am in.
As regard as book I enjoy reading historical novel and get a deep understanding on how was living some centuries ago.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my favourite adventure has been going to the Afrikaburn festival, the South African Burning Man: living in a desert for five days, meeting lovely people and create a community where money does not exist and everything is based on sharing with the others.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach how to create some graphic design, how to cook pasta with a delicious ragù!
And of course, if you want, some italian words.

What I Can Share with Hosts

😊 I can create some art to make your house even more cozy
