About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To make awesome stories.
ABOUT ME
I think it's really difficult to summarize a person in a short blurb. I'm fairly quirky, super sarcastic, and have been called "dude-ish" on more than one occasion (though I'm pretty sure that's not a reference my appearance).
I am a beekeeper, and a rock climber. I am
obsessed with permaculture and sustainable agriculture, and love nothing more than to sit around a fire, sipping bourbon, chatting with interesting people.
I love to meet others who read books and spend time outside, who value the foods they eat and the people they share them with.
PHILOSOPHY
Like all good Quaker children, I learned the "spices" early in life - which stands for Simplicity, Peace, Integrity, Community, Equality, and Stewardship. Those remain my essential values.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have hosted a few surfers, and hope to enjoy surfing a bit soon!
Interests
I spend most of my time reading, writing, working my bees or rock climbing. I am extremely interested in permaculture and growing food. I also love cooking, running around in the woods, playing disc golf, enjoying delicious meals with friends, brightly colored kites, wind on my face, and singing in the shower.
