After working very hard for over 30 years I decided to slow down to get back in touch with myself and with the World. After spending 2 years (my sabbatical period) traveling around the world I got my Cambridge Celta diploma and I started teaching English in the town where I live. The teaching job has allowed me to have a lot of free time in both summer and winter to continue traveling. Over the last 20 years I’ve travelled to over 60 Countries and during one of my last trips I met the mother of my son, who’s now almost 2 years old. We are going to travel in Costarica as of October 2022. We are looking forward to meeting new people and exchange our stories, passions, food, etc… my partner is Thai and she’s an excellent chef. Over the last year we have worked a lot as home-chefs, gaining quite a good reputation in our town. We’ve also hosted workshops for people who were keen on learning about Thai quisine. I also love cooking Italian dishes, which is something I have done loads of times for friends all over the world.

Because blending with locals is the only way to really live and understand a place. After travelling for business for almost 10 years I ended up hating hotels and resorts. On top of that I'm always happy to meet new people, so when I'm not travelling I'd love to have guests at my place in Faenza, a beautiful town in the heart of Italy.

I love music in general, but I'm totally into Funk and Soul. It'd be great to meet fellow musicians all over the world for some jam sessions: i can play a little bit of drums, bass and guitar. I love travel books too.
