I like to walk around foreign places and spend time wandering about. I enjoy discovering the world with locals as guides and not spend all my time sightseeing whatever’s well-known. I love cities and people-watching.

兴趣

I’m beginning to pick up hiking as a hobby and not just as a means of getting from point A to point B. I also skate (badly) on inline skates.

I also really like photography but the number of pictures I take has been steadily declining for some time now.

I listen to all genres: rock, synthpop, krautrock, classical music (in the broadest sense of the word), hip-hop, electronic music, “experimental music” (whatever that means…).

The biggest names in my playlists: David Bowie, De-Phazz, Hugo Tsr Crew, New Musik, Wax Tailor, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Daft Punk, XTC, Devo, Danny Elfman, Orfeo, La Rumeur, The Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster, Frédéric Chopin, Kraftwerk, Heinrich Schütz, The Rolling Stones, Yellow Magic Orchestra, Nujabes, Wevie Stonder.

My favourite directors are Krzysztof Kieślowski and Akira Kurosawa.

I read Russian literary classics (in French), a few American novels (XIXth and XXth centuries), some British novels (mostly from the XIXth century), science-fiction… Occasionally, a book on economics.

According to some it's an achievement to make other people happy. I haven't done many spectacular things that I would think about when filling this so I guess that indicates I'm too tame or have not lived enough.

I like learning songs.

I can teach people French if they're interested. I can give a few tips and tricks about photography.

I'm not that good (yet?) on skates but I can help total beginners if they're comfortable with falling a few times.
