Born in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, I now live in Berlin for about 20 years.

I am a qualified real estate agent and have worked in this profession for almost 8 years (including internship and training). Recently, I quit my job to travel and gain new impressions. I want to get to know new people and cultures and hope to find inspiration for a new job as well.

In 2016, I lived in Australia for 9 months and I think that was one of the best experiences in my life. That's another reason why I am back on the road.

I like to go to the gym or spend time with friends over a good coffee. Even though I am not musical at all, I love music in many different forms. Music connects, even if you do not speak the same language .. so let's exchange music!
Of course, as a Berliner, I am also a big deep house / techno fan and appreciate a good party. So if you are looking for an accompaniment or need a tip for a Berlin trip, let me know!

- to see how people live in other countries. (Not only these Hostel or Hotel tourists)
- see the world with my own eyes, not just through social medias. (especially how people live in other countries)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During my time in Australia, I met people from different countries and found that we have a lot in common although our backgrounds are so different. Our planet is a small place that we all share together - it doesn’t matter which country you come from. I am glad to have had this experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

- I can teach you German or show you some exercises in the gym. Besides, I'm a very quiet guy who may be able to help you get a different view of things and people around you.

- I would like to learn more languages and DJ'ing

- I am interested in joint activities or just hang out together in a nice cafe. Also cooking is a great way to spend time together.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a friendly and clean person who knows how to behave in a stranger apartment. I am animal-loving and like to take care of your animals.
Couchsurfing is about living together, so I like to help with everything that happens in the household. We can cook together, do sports, watch movies or listen to music. If you need someone to help you out, I'm also very helpful here.
