I'm a passionate guy, music's lover, curious about what life really is (and can be). I had set cultural events for a bunch of years, worker now in the human field.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd be glad to welcome for a few days, give tips about the cultural life of Brussels, having a bike ride in the city, or just having a drink.
(I'm away of the city almost a third of the time)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've done some couchsurfing some years ago. I had very good experiences. Some people became friends I went in hollidays with. It's been now 2 years or so that I didn't knock at some people's doors, but I'm thinking doing it again soon.

Interessen

Nature, music, body and spirit, chi-energy.

I love being in nature, forest, mountains, sea, feeling the way live flows into these. I'm found of its freshness and disparity. I'm learning massotherapy.

I love music since I'm child, I spend much time listening, alone or with friends, or going to hear some live. I'm fascinated by its powers, its ability to change things in oneself. I listen to many kinds of. For the moment, much afro-american ones (I give lectures about it), all the spectrum, or classical.
Mythology and spirituality give me an opening, re-connect me to the whole thing. It's good to remember it. I practice yoga and qi gong. I like walking at night, the stars above.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

So much music to love, 'difficult to list some.

For the moment I'm listening to some jazz like Sun Ra, Ramsey Lewis Trio, Alice Coltrane, Herbie Hancock.
In hip hop Pete Rock and CL Smooth, J5, some soul singers like Roberta Flack.
Early dub music - King Tubby - and rocksteady.
In classical, Mendelssohn, Bach, Chopin's Noctures.

Haven't seen much movies recently except some of Weerasethakul (Thailand), and old King Hu ones (Hong Kong). I like old and contemporary japanese filmakers, like Immamura, or Kurosawa, Kitano. Also Jarmusch ones, Hal Hartley. Old Woody Allen are a gift to humankind : )

I almost don't read novels. Mostly for the moment my readings are about mythology and afro-american music, as I'm keen to know more about those.
