Overview
About Me
My name of use is Robert.
I usually do not have time to host during the week. Sorry :(
And I'm back to Couchsurfing after many years. I was part of another student organization, I was travelling all the time, and when I was home, I was living with my parents.
And now I live on my own, no longer a student, so I'm back on CS :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like meeting new people and there you go, that's why I joined CS. So far I was hosted by some awesome CS members, and I managed to host two back in my previous life.
I attended some CS meetings in Slovenia.
Then I was inactive for a few years. And now I'm occasionally back when I have time :)
I can host people, I will not be travelling so much and so often around now.
Interests
hiking, diving, cycling, windsurfing... sport in general. I want to learn how to fly (an airplane).
interested in amateur football (soccer) playing, super-amateur beach-volleyball playing
drinking beers or wine with friends, and eat some good food in the meantime (cheese, melons and smoked ham, yummy)
talking with interesting people
occasional social drinking :)
travelling around the world
being at the seaside with friends, lying on the floor doing nothing :)

Music, Movies, and Books
books: I love books from Nelson Demille and Dan Brawn
movies: my taste is periodically changing on that. Except comedies. I don't like cheezy or fart-humor comedies.
music: that depends a lot on my mood. Or, sometimes, the radio :D
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sitting in an A320 cockpit, and I was allowed to move few switches while flying. I guess I was about 10 years old, and yes, it was before nine eleven.
I climbed a 6088 meter tall mountain.
I drove down the death road in Bolivia by bike.
I learned how to scuba dive.
Experienced rain in Sahara.
I sort of learned how to windsurf.
I swam in the Amazon river, just before fishing for piranhas.
I got myself locked inside a temple in Bangkok, had to call the police to rescue me :D
Survived a few days in the jungle.
Volunteered at FIFA World Cup in Brazil in 2014. Saw the finals life :P
I swam with the elephants.
Learned to drive a motorbike in Laos at night, rain and no lights.
Sunrise at Fuji mountain
Hitchiking in Georgia, probably the most welcoming country so far.

Teach, Learn, Share
I have quite some funny experiences with travelling, so I can stare a lot of those.
I am trying to learn how to cook.
I am trying to learn how to code.
I want to expend my knowledge on scuba diving and to get a pilot licence.
