ABOUT ME

Warm buzzy greetings everyone! It is of course completely daunting condensing your entire self into a paragraph but I have been inspired by the attempts I've read so here's mine: I'm a super easy going and excitable guy, filled with humour and energy and I channel that energy often into making music that I hope soothes and comforts people's souls and minds, and involves the body in a bit of joyful motion. I love lengthy philosophical banter that leads into nights of thinking and laughing and chatting and discovering: I simply adore meeting and sharing moments of life with people. I am from the United States, having come to Oxford a couple years ago to pursue a degree in Audio Engineering and with that sorted now, I wish to continue to explore and live freely, whilst making art and friends as a world citizen passionate about connecting and reflecting kindness, patience, and love. As each of us are, I am a bit of a complex person, so do feel free to send me a message on here or Facebook: exchange is much easier than waxing poetic about one's virtues. PHILOSOPHY

This is an expansive question of course, but I like to live earnestly and feel that connections with other people and common ground is the way to always move forward: we belong to a beautiful Earth and we do so equally...let's share it!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm moving from Oxford in March, so my ability to host here is limited by that time frame...however until then I'm more than happy to share this beautiful city with anyone coming through! Next stop for me is Berlin with a mate from Uni to live and work and set up a home base for continuing this next phase of the journey!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've not used this site before, but the notions and ethos of it I am completely versed in with 'analogue' experiences in my life: I believe all worthwhile, stable, loving, and good things come from friendships and trust. This is such a beautiful expression of that so I can't wait to get surfing myself...

Interests

Art and artists in its/their many forms and platforms: music, visual, film, architecture, design, philosophical exercises and explorations, mathematics expressions, et al. when people are creative they are their most beautiful I find, and therefore I am interested in whatever drives creative people...

OH my days this would take way too long to do! I'm partial to electronic/funk/folk/ethnic (traditional)/resonant musics and thought provoking and inviting works of art: really if it evokes, stems from and moves the soul...I'm listening.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm grateful for my moments of transition: from an actor to a musician/composer/producer, from worrying about constantly saving money in a 9 to 5 to just deciding to live more freely, moving from the United States to the UK/EU, constantly finding new ways to express my heart through creative projects: every transition is a gift.
