HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was traveling around South America by 2.5 years always meeting CSes in all cities. Now I'm traveling in europe and even though my English is not very good I'm giving my best to improve my communication and share with the community. I'm also writing ideas to improve the website and send them to oficial developers team. So if you have some we can write it together.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Of any kind, from the most closer friends, lovely and crazy people, to those who do not undestand the basic idea. But by fortune these last are the least :)

Interests

Music, cinema, nature and any expression that cause a movement in my mind. Free people, good energy and creativity. I'm happy in a party or in the quietness, with friends or alone with my guitar, my camera, paper and time for creation.

Music, Movies, and Books

In movies: Wes Anderson, David Lynch, Woody Allen, Stanley Kubrick, Cohen Brothers, Charlie Kauffman, Buster Keaton, Fatih Akin, Alex de la Iglesia and the list goes on and on...

In music, from Beatles, Pink Floyd, Alan Parsons and a lot of progressive rock of 60-70s; Latinoamerican too! Like Vox Dei, Los Jaivas and Pablo el Enterrador. And a lot of music of South America from 80-90 and present. I also like the trova music like Silvio Rodriguez and Fernando Delgadillo; Classical Music too, and Electronic :) like Justice, Chemical Brothers and some trance like Infected Mushroom. So you can see, i really like music!

I read mostly LatinAmerican writers like Julio Cortazar, JL Borges, García Márquez, Pablo Neruda, Oliverio Girondo, Alejandra Pizarnik, Osvaldo Soriano, and others. I also like to read about Cosmology, Philosophy and History.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travel by boat down the Amazon River for 4 days and discover an amazing and heavenly environment.
Walk for a day by the railroad tracks from Ollantaytambo to Aguas Calientes in Peru, and the next day climb to the top of Waina Picchu mountain in Macchu Picchu. Film a kind of documentary video as a gift for Waira Churis, a Quechua family living in the Amazon region of Ecuador and still retains its ancestral lands. And begin a journey without a plan or course and return two years later with a new thinking.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach spanish, how to play songs with the guitar and some basis on Xilofono :) Also how to cook the best "Empanadas Argentinas" ever. And i can talk a lot about South American cultures and countries if you are interested. And, as my mission says, i'm here to learn.
