About Me

Hi !
After travelling for 2 years by land and sea from Belgium to Australia, I am making my way home sailing on a boat that left Thailand in January. I'd like to meet as many local people possible where I stop, to discover their culture and experience part of their daily lives.
I have been on CS since 2008 but my former profile got deleted unfortunately.
I come from Belgium, I like surfing, hiking, photography, music, nature and discovering the beauty of the world. Even though I am an optimistic person, I am quite affected by what our modern society is doing to our planet and its inhabitants. So I try to do my best to help protect the environment and the people while still enjoying life as much as I can. Balance is key.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet people who live in the places where I travel, because it rapidly gives me an insight of what life is in those places. It creates unique experiences and new, genuine connections around the world.
I also like to share nice local places with visitors in my hometown, to keep meeting travelers when I am not on the roads.
