Hi, I'm Pieter,

I am a 22 year old Belgian student with a big interest in environment, nature and people. I got to know couchsurfing via an exchange in the beautiful country of Finland. And I have to say I don't regret the choice at all. I had some beautiful hikes and met great people. I even could ride on a snowmobile :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are living with a lot of people on the planet. When I travel I prefer to get to know these people instead of booking a private room.

I was new to Couchsurfing up till a few months. But right now I can say it got me into contact with very nice people

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was backpacking from Finland to Belgium. I am happy I made that decision. If you want I have some nice storries to tell on what I experienced sofar :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like baking a lot. I am always prepared to share a taste of belgian bakery. I am learning it from my grandfather. Furthermore I am definitely in for a nice talk, walk (in nature) and in general try out new food and activities.
